One Link Fills the Week. The Policy Is Signed Before Anyone Can Miss.
Families pick a time, agree to your cancellation policy, and leave a card if you ask. Reminders run themselves. When someone misses, the fee is your call, on terms they already signed.
- Policy agreed at booking
- Card saved, never charged at booking
- Your own Zoom, Meet, or Doxy room
Free to explore. You pay only when you publish your booking page.
How It Works
From Link to Visit, Without You in the Middle
Publish once. The booking, the reminders, and the policy run on their own. Tap a step or let it play.
Step 1 of 5
Publish Your Page
Services, hours, locations. Share the link or paste one script tag into your own site.
- New families land in request mode: you approve before a slot is committed
- Returning families can book instantly, overridable per service
- Embed inline, as a button, or as a floating badge
Step 1 of 5. Web portal, Settings
The Problem
The 3 p.m. No-Show
A parent wants Tuesdays, but not this Tuesday. Two days of email later, the slot is gone.
Then the no-show. It costs you three times: the session, the prep, and the waitlisted family who wanted it.
You have a policy. It is in a PDF somewhere. The one family who needs it never signed it.
Reminders do not fix attendance. A signed policy, a card on file, and a full waitlist do.
What a Sick Month Costs
- Sessions on the calendar this week
- 0
- Cancelled or missed, at the 25% SLPs report for winter
- 0
- Your rate per session
- $0
- Gone from your pay, this week
- $0
25 to 30 percent is what SLPs on r/slp report for the sick months. $95 is the income calculator’s default rate. Your numbers will differ; the arithmetic will not.
The Day After
The Calendar Fills Without You in It
Families see real openings, book, and confirm from the reminder. The ones who miss already agreed to the fee.
Today
- Times traded by email over three days
- Reminders you send yourself, if you remember
- A cancellation policy nobody signed
- A fee you have to ask for in person, and usually do not
With Vochella
- A booking page, or the embed on your own site, showing real openings
- Reminders at 24 hours and 1 hour, with Confirm and Join buttons
- Your policy agreed at booking, a card on file if you require one
- Mark the no-show, charge the fee, capped at the booked price
Why It Works
Why This Beats Another Reminder App
The Policy Conversation Already Happened
Agreed in the booking form, in writing, with a timestamp. The first no-show is not the first time the family hears about the fee.
The Card Is the Boundary
Saved at booking, never charged at booking. If you apply your policy, the charge cannot exceed the booked price. You decide, every time.
The Waitlist Does the Backfilling
SLPs who say their policy works credit one thing: a full waitlist. A cancelled slot goes out to up to three matching families with a claim link that expires.
What You Get
Booking, Reminders, and the No-Show Policy
A public booking page, plus the embed
Services, hours, locations. One script tag puts the same page on your own site, inline, as a button, or as a floating badge.
Request mode and instant booking
New families request, you approve. Returning families can book instantly. Overridable per service.
Reminders that run themselves
Email at 24 hours and 1 hour with Confirm, an evening check-in the day before, and reply-C by text for families who opt in.
Your policy, agreed at booking
Timestamped in the booking form. Card on file if you require one, saved and not charged.
The no-show fee, your call
Charged from the portal, capped at the booked price, only with recorded consent.
Waitlist offers and book-again links
A cancelled slot goes to up to three matching families. Confirmations carry a book-again link, so nobody rebooks through your inbox.
What it replaces
- The scheduler$29/mo
- The family-texting workaround$25/mo
Vochella
$129 a month, everything included
Per SLP. Less than one private session. Free until you publish your booking page.
Straight Answers
What You Would Ask on r/slp
Does the card get charged at booking?
No. It is saved for later. A charge only happens if you apply your policy after a no-show or late cancel, and it cannot exceed the booked price.
What about families I cannot, or would rather not, charge?
Charging is your action, never automatic. A publicly funded family, or a first-offence stomach bug, is simply never charged. Mark the no-show for the record and stop there.
Does it work on my existing website?
Yes. Paste one script tag and the same booking page appears inline, as a button, or as a floating badge, with the source recorded so you know which page booked.
Do I need new video software?
No. Paste your Zoom, Meet, or Doxy room link once. The video option only appears on your booking page after you have, so a family can never book a format you cannot deliver.
Said Plainly
What It Does Not Do
- Built-in video. You bring your Zoom, Meet, or Doxy room; your vendor’s agreement covers the call.
- Automatic no-show charges. You mark, you decide, and charging happens in the web portal, not the phone app.
- Text reminders for every visit. Texts go only to booking-page families who opted in, at the 24-hour mark.
- Insurance eligibility checks at booking. Vochella is private-pay first; superbills come after the visit.
Questions SLPs Ask
- Is the booking page per SLP or per practice?
- Per practice. One page with your services, hours, and locations, whether you are solo or a clinic with several SLPs.
- When do I start paying?
- When you publish the page. Building it and previewing it is free. Unpublishing is never blocked.
- What if a family books and never confirms?
- The visit stays on your schedule as booked. The 1-hour reminder only goes to confirmed visits, so an unconfirmed one shows on Today as exactly that.
- What do families get by email?
- A confirmation with a manage link, a reminder 24 hours before with Confirm, a reminder one hour before if confirmed, and a Join button on video visits. All from your practice name.
Booked, Reminded, Protected.
The calendar fills itself. The reminders go out without you. The one conversation you dread already happened, in writing, at booking.
