What You Are Probably Thinking
“A five-year-old will grab whatever is on my table.”
The session runner works on your phone as well as a tablet or laptop. Two big buttons, so you can tally without looking down and keep the table for the therapy.
“I can't tally every trial and still be present.”
You do not have to, and most SLPs don’t. Tally the first ten trials, or just one goal, then put the phone down and teach. The draft is built from whatever you tallied. After the session you can change any number, rewrite any line, or add what you saw, all before you sign. It is your note. The tally only saves you the blank page.
